  • Where is the wedding?

    The location of our wedding will be in Monroe, New York — which is about 60-90 minutes from New York City by car.

    For those of you who will be traveling from out of town, the closest airports are LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy International, and Newark Liberty International.

  • What is the wedding attire?

    Cocktail attire: For gentlemen, a suit or dress shirt with tie is suggested. For ladies, a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates are also welcome.

    Our venue, Blooming Hill Farm, is a majority outdoor venue. There will be some uneven surfaces including mulch, grass, and gravel.

    The cocktail hour will be held in a barn and dinner reception will be held in a tent. All will be heated in the colder months—but please bring something warm to wear.

    We’ve included some pictures of our venue so you can get a feel for what the grounds look like.

  • What happens after the church ceremony?

    The church ceremony begins at 1:00pm will end by 2:30p. Guests may want to go back to their hotel and rest a bit before heading to the cocktail reception, which begins at 4:30p at Blooming Hill Farm.

    Please COME HUNGRY—there will be SO MUCH delicious food at the cocktail hour and dinner!

  • Is there a hotel room block?

    A room block is reserved at the Sleep Inn, which is 8 minutes from the venue, at a $179 nightly rate ($209 for suites), while available.

    Additional hotel options offer suites and proximity to local restaurants.

  • Will there be shuttle transportation?

    We encourage everyone to carpool to the church ceremony.

    For the reception, for guests staying at the Sleep Inn hotel, there will be a shuttle departing at 4:00pm to take you to the reception at Blooming Hill Farm. They will also return you to the hotel at the end of the evening.

    If you’re not staying at the Sleep Inn hotel, we encourage you to carpool to the reception.

  • What's the weather like in May?

    May weather in New York is typically around 50-65°F

    There will be heating in the barn and tent if the wedding day is cold, but bring something warm just in case!

  • Do you have a gift registry?

    Many of you are traveling from across the U.S. to celebrate with us in New York, so your presence already means the world to us—and it is all we ask of you. If you would still like to contribute, there will be a card box at our reception.

  • Transportation from NYC Details:

    NJ TRANSIT

    NJ Transit offers the closest train stations to the farm:

    Harriman Station OR Salisbury Mills-Cornwall (both are 10 minutes away from farm venue).

    Both of these stops are on the Port Jervis Line out of Penn Station with a transfer at Secaucus.

    Average train time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
